Granny´s farm has been in the family for four generations, recently renovated to accommodate holiday makers.
It is located in one of the most beautyfull valleys of Madeira, where you can be in permanent contact with nature and enjoy the tranquility of the country side. The surrounding area has amazing views of the mountains and the ocean.
The weather is mild most of the year. We have our own vegetable garden and fruit trees with. you can use the BBQ facilities and have you meals outside enjoying the atmosphere.

Levada Fajã do Rodrigues
If you’re looking for an easy levada hike near Sao Vicente, Madeira, the PR16 Levada Faja do Rodrigues is a great option.
The trail winds through gorgeous scenery, with waterfalls, pretty flowers and stunning views out across the Sao Vicente valley along the way. You can really appreciate the beauty of Madeira from up here, and like most Madeira levada walks, it’s virtually flat.
If you’re unable to drive your car on dirt roads (common for rental cars) you’ll need to park it on the tarmac road just 200m down from the starting point of the Sao Vicente hike, but this is not strenuous. If you’re planning to visit Madeira, or are just looking for things to do in Madeira to decide on whether a Madeira vacation is right for you, i hope this video will be helpful.
